Title: Mizu e no Hi no Komoriuta ["Fire's Lullaby to Water"]
Date: N/A
Comment: I was writing a story about this other world, far in the future, in another dimension. It focused around the rulers of kingdoms during a period. Naiken was the lord in the west, who was in love with Fu-zhen, the lord in the east. During one point of their love affair, Fu-zhen recited a poem to Naiken. Later, during the time of the story, when she is almost dying, she recites the first quater of it again. This is that part. I didn't write the entire poem though, just this. When I tried to finish it later, I couldn't. So I left it incomplete.

---------------

The green of grass and blue of sea
turns old and brown and then too deep.
Songs of children over told,
dance the moors and ever cold

Spring in Winter, Winter Spring;
Summer ends with Autum falling.
Riding into all the night
the flowers hiss with all their spite

Albeit the wind does not ride
and the Sun dares a hide,
Mountains crumble to the earth
and the clouds cry their worth

In the fields I hope to find thee
waiting ever there for me,
for the Sun is no longer golden
and my silver wings are broken
